"Salmon" impresses with its deep yellow-orange play of colors. A very beautiful and productive perennial flower, which can be up to 60 cm tall and relatively easy to grow. The flower stalks can be used in fresh bouquets or for drying.
Quantity: approx. 150 seeds
Sowing: in March. The seeds were sown in moist soil and pressed lightly against the surface. In my experience, germination percentage is significantly higher if the seeds are not covered with soil. The young sprouts are watered very moderately, and preferably from below.
Can also be sown directly at the growing site from the beginning of April.
Planting: from the beginning of May. The plant shows its full deep red color by growing in a sunny place. Feel free to give 25 - 30 cm space between each plant, as it does not like to be pinched.
Flowering: July to frost.
For further drying the stems are cut before the flower opens. The leaves are removed and the stems are hung upside down. Provide a place without direct sunlight, otherwise the colors will fade.
